Welcome
Brisbane’s most flexible event space
The historic Brisbane Showgrounds is a world-class events and lifestyle precinct located just 1.5km from the city’s CBD.
It’s home to the state-of-the-art Royal International Convention Centre (Royal ICC), a four and a half star Rydges Hotel and vibrant King Street dining and retail hub, making it a sought-after and leading events destination.
Whether it’s an intimate gathering for 20 or an event for 25,000, the Brisbane Showgrounds offers the largest and most versatile range of indoor and outdoor venues in Queensland, to suit any occasion.
From corporate functions and conferences to music festivals, more than 250 events hosting a total of one million people are staged at the Showgrounds each year, including Queensland’s largest event the Royal Queensland Show (Ekka).
The Royal ICC is one of Queensland’s largest convention and exhibition centres featuring 4,000 square metres of event space.
The Royal International Convention Centre (Royal ICC) has been awarded Green Globe Certification, making it one of the most environmentally sustainable event venues of its kind in the nation.
We’re proud our Royal ICC has become Australia’s only convention centre to achieve this certification from the global leader in sustainability certification – Green Globe.
